The Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM.

SACNAS provides students and professionals the opportunities and resources they need to advance in their education and careers through:

Fiona Science Student Relief Fund: (Full press release

The deadline for the Fiona Science Student Relief Fund is Nov 1st. Created by a partnership of SACNAS, PR Science Technology and Research Trust, Ciencia PR, AAAS Caribbean Division and ACS PR Chapter, undergraduate college students can apply for $500 relief grants. If you know a college student in Puerto Rico and who was impacted by the hurricane, encourage them to apply to the scholarship by November 1st.
