Natalie Ruiz is the Bridge Program Coordinator at APS. In addition to serving administrative roles in the program, Natalie serves as a community facilitator for bridge sites, partners, students, and partner organizations (including IGEN) in an effort to promote diversity and inclusion in the field of Physics. Natalie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Geneseo in 2016 with a major in Chemistry and a concentration in Science Education.

The American Physical Society (APS) is a founding society partner of IGEN. Since 2012, its APS Bridge Program partners have helped to close the gap in participation of Black, Latinx and Indigenous participation in physics graduate studies.
